Hidden Inlet 2025 Reservation and Cancellation Policies

Deposit & Payment:

  • 50% of the balance is due immediately at booking.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due 60 days prior to arrival for regular lodging and adventures.

Payment Options:

  • Credit Cards: We accept all major credit cards, and processing fees are included in the quoted rates. Invoices will provide a secure link for easy payment processing.

  • ACH Transfers: Invoices will contain information to share with your banking institution.

Rescheduling, No Shows, and Cancellation Penalty:

  • 120 Days or More Prior to Arrival:

    • 80% of the deposited amount will be refunded, minus any payment processing fees.

    • The remaining 20% of the deposited amount is nonrefundable but can be applied toward rescheduled dates or transferred to another party.

    • A $200 administrative fee applies for changes.

  • 61-119 Days Prior to Arrival:

    • 20% of the deposited amount will be forfeited.

    • 80% of the deposited amount can be applied toward rescheduled dates or transferred to another party.

    • A $200 administrative fee applies for changes.

  • 60 Days or Less Prior to Arrival:

    • 100% of the full reservation cost is nonrefundable. Payment for the full reservation is contractually owed.

    • 80% of the reservation cost can be applied toward rescheduled dates or transferred to another party.

    • A $200 administrative fee applies for changes.

For applicable situations, rescheduling must occur within 12 months and is subject to availability and updated rates, terms, and conditions.

Trip Insurance:

Travel interruptions are not uncommon in Alaska. Due to the short season and remote location, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes full coverage for cancellation, interruption, and evacuation. 

Force Majeure:

Hidden Inlet is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by factors beyond our control.

Additional Policies:

  • Gratuities: Tipping is customary at 10-15% of the total bill. Tips may be given via cash or credit card.

  • Itinerary Changes: Activities are subject to weather, tides, and availability.

  • Wildlife: Interactions with wildlife are likely, but safety precautions must be followed.

  • Damage: Guests are liable for damages to facilities and equipment.

Liability & Waivers:

All guests must sign a liability waiver and complete a guest information form 60 days prior to arrival. Parents or guardians must complete waivers for minors.
